Comm. 49: APPOINTMENT TO THE HAWAII REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY -
STEVE E. HANDY
From Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated December 2, 1998, submitting
for confirmation the following appointment to the Hawaii Redevelopment
Agency:
Mr. Steve E. Handy of Hilo, a 24-yeaz resident of Hawaii who, since 1988,
has been the owner/President of One Handy Subway, Ltd. He is a
Republican.
If confirmed, Mr. Handy will replace Beatrice L. Lau, whose term will
expire on December 31, 1998, and will serve a term to end on
December 31, 2003.

The Public Works & Parks Committee and the Finance Committee meetings can be seen on
Tuesday, January 5 at 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday, January 12 at 8:30 p.m. The Planning Committee
meeting can be seen on Thursday, January 7 at 8:30 p.m. and Thursday, January 14 at 8:30 p.m.
All the above meetings will be aired on Sunday, January 17 at 9 a.m.
