2000, transmitting the above described ordinance bill.
Comm. 915: KALAPANA ROAD REALIGNMENT PROJECT
EARLY CONSULTATION FOR DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL
ASSESSMENT
From Ronald A. Sato, A]CP, Project Planner, SSFM International,
Inc., dated August 30, 2000, as a follow up to their previous letter
submitted in May, informs that the County's Department of Public
Works recently notified them Yhat the resurfacing portion has been

eliminated from their work and the subsequent scope of the Draft
Finvironmental Assessment (Draft EA) is being prepared.
States that their letter identified two components that were to be
studied under the Draft EA. They are : (1) The realignment of three
existing segments of Kapoho-Kalapana Beach Road, and (2) the
possible resurfacing of 13.2 miles ofthis roadway generally
situated between Kalani Honua Cultural Center and Kapoho-
Kumukahi Lighthouse Road.

(Res. 321) ROADWAY LOTS WITHIN KALOKO BUSINESS PARK,
PHASE II, FROM TSA INTERNATIONAL, LIMITED, TAX
MAP KEYS (3)7-3-051:098 AND (3)7-3-051:062, TO THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII
