Sumada, Deputy Chief Engineer, dated August 15, 2000, transmitting the above resolution authorizing the Chief Engineer to issue permits for the installation of convex mirrors within the County right-of--way. They would issue permits to individuals who have exhausted all other means to improve sight distance at their private driveway. PW&PC-42 2 SEPTEMBER 6, 2000 Comm. 903: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE (Bill 309) HAWAII COUNTY CODE OF 1983, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC (This bill prohibits the use of coasters, roller skates, roller blades, skateboards, and other similar devices within the Kailua Village commercial area. makai of Kuakini Highway; between Palani Road on the north; extending southbound on Alii Drive to the intersection with Walua Road on the south; and further included Hualalai Road westbound to the intersection with Alii Drive, and all public azeas located on the Waiakea Peninsula, makai of Kamehameha Avenue- Kalanianaole Avenue from the Wailoa River estuary to the site of the former Reeds Bay Restaurant (TMK - 2-1-06: 11, 12, 19 and 20) From Legislative Analyst Gerald Monden, dated August 9, 2000, transmitting the above bill, per request of Councilmember Bobby Jean Leithead-Todd.
