Each year, 396 e~grenditwe reports are produced to the State departments that fund our programs. Our programs are reviewed fram both a management and fiscal standpoint by these departments and United Way organizations across the State. Deloitte and Touche conducts an independent annual audit which is filed with the DCCA, given to all state fanding sources, and is public record. Each year, the operating budgets for the programs of Child and Family Service which are fimded by the State of I4awau are reviewed line item by line. There are a total of 9 rnontlily reports of all contract. expenditttres submitted for review. An additioua172 reports are produced and submitted quarterly. The State has the authority to review prior financial.reports at any time. State monitors are assigned to each coutract and are authorized to review all personnel and training files at will, insurvrg compliance with State guidelines. . in addition to these reports, Child and Family Service has been accredited by the Council on Acereditatian'far Services to Families and Children (COA) sinoe 1981. COA conducts an extensive audit every 4 year's in which volumes of ledgers are reviewed regarding governance, management, human resources, and financial practices, in addition to on-sight visits and random employee and vohutteer interviews. Finally I am aware of LLe dedication of the starT at Family Support Services and Farnt7v Crisis Shelter, Ina These individuals work tirelessly each day to improve our cotrurnmity. They deserve your support and continued funding. The majority of residents understand the important services they provide.
