CALL TO ORDER STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON ITEMS ON THE AGENDA REFERRALS Comm. 630: RESOLU'T'ION SUPPORTING THE ACQUISITION BY (Res. 206-2K) HAWAII COUNTY OF THE HILO TO HAWAIIAN PARADISE PARK SECTION OF THE FORMER HILO TO KAPOHO RAILROAD From Councilmember Dominic Yagong, dated January 20, 2000, transmitting the above resolution supporting the acquisition of the Hilo to Kapoho Railroad right-of--way with the intent to establish a pathway for non-motorized use with the exception of the current agricultural/commercial motorized business access use of the roadway. PW&PC-2000 Page 2 FEBRUARY 1, 2000 Comm. 632: REQUEST TO HAVE THE CHEF ENGINEER ADDRESS CONCERNS REGARDING THE GREEN WASTE PROGRAM AT THE PW&PC'S FEBRUARY 1, 2000 MEETING Copy of letter to Chief Engineer Robert Yanabu from PWPC Chair Dominic Yagong, dated January 20, 2000, informing he has received many inquiries on the County's green waste program regarding the transition from the previous vendors to the current vendor. Requests his presence at the February 2000 PW&PC meeting to make a presentation on the status of the current green waste program, and to give an update in regards.to the environmental concerns at our current green waste site.
