CALL TO ORDER STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON ITEMS ON THE AGENDA REFERRALS: Comm. 428: HILO WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE INSPECTION Copy of letter to Deputy Chief Engineer Jiro Sumada from Thomas E. Arizumi, P.E., Chief, Environmental Management Division, State Department of Health, dated May 19, 1999, transmitting their inspection report on the above. They have also included comments based on a review of the financial report, and they plan to conduct a more extensive review of the County's sewer user charge system and will issue a report under separate cover. (See next page for Comm 428.001 summary) PW&PC-19 Page 2 September 21, 1999 Comm. 428.001: From PW&PC Chair Dominic Yagong, dated August 30, 1999, attaching copy of Comm. 365.001, which was erroneously given a "point number" to Comm. 365, regazding the State Health Dept.'s reports for the East and West Hawaii County Sewer System Maintenance Inspections. PW&PC deferred Comm. 365.001 at its July 27, 1999 meeting. States they have recently received a copy of Thomas Arizumi's letter to Deputy Chief Engineer Jiro Sumada (Comm. 428), which is the correct report which Comm. 365.001 addresses. Communication No. 365.001 is a copy of a letter to Mr. Arizumi from Deputy Chief Engineer Jiro Sumada, dated July 14, 1999, addressing the deficiencies cited in Comm. 428. Comm. 432: RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE GRANT OF EASEMENT (Res. 138-99) AND BILL OF SALE FROM THE CASEY FAMILY PROGRAM, TAX MAP KEY (3)2-3-035:038 (PORTION) TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII From Corporation Counsel Richazd D. Wurdeman, dated August 30, 1999, transmitting the above resolution and the subject grant of easement and bill of sale. Informs the Departments of Public Works, Water Supply and Planning, after review, have all recommended acceptance of the grant of easement and bill of sale. Comm. 433 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF (Res. 139-99) ROADWAY LOT A FROM HONOKOHAU DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, AND ROADWAY LOT B FROM PALANI RANCH COMPANY, INC., WITHIN THE PANIOLO II SUBDIVISION, INCREMENT I, TMK: (3)7-4-007:099, TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII From Corporation Counsel Richard D. Wurdeman, dated August 31, 1999, transmitting the above resolution and the subject dedication deeds. Informs the Departments of Public Works, Water Supply and Planning, after review, have all recommended acceptance of the dedication deeds and all the subdivision improvements have been completed.
