Comm. 180: CONCERNS RAISED BY BISHOP MUSEUM WITH REGARD
TO WAIPIO VALLEY
From Jeffrey A. Bell, Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Chief
Financial Officer, Bishop Museum, dated February 23, 1999,
requesting answers to their questions regarding their land
ownership in Waipio Valley, as detailed in their letter.

Comm. 180.001: From Deputy Chief Engineer Jiro Sumada dated March 5, 1999,
responding to PW&PC Chair's memo dated March 2, 1999,
transmitting copy of Comm. 180. States the Planning Department
is the proper authority to address the majority of the concerns
raised by Bishop Museum with regard to Waipio Valley; and
therefore, deferred response to the Planning Director. Informs his
staff will be available at the PWPC meeting when the matter is
discussed to assist with any questions under their purview.
Comm. 180.002: From Corporation Counse] Richazd Wurdeman, dated March 8,
1999, providing comments, as requested by the PWPC Chair, on
Bishop Museum's questions listed in Communication No. 180.
Comm. 180.003: From Planning Director Virginia Go]dstein, dated March 19, 1999,
responding to questions by Mr. Jeffrey A. Bell of Bishop Museum
regarding land ownership in Waipio Valley.
Comm. 250: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT

RELOCATE FREIGHT LOADING ZONE
From Deputy Corporation Counsel Gerald Takase, dated April 1,
1999, pursuant to the request of the Traffic Division, transmits the
attached bill relocating the freight loading zone on Kinoole Street.

The Public Works & Parks Committee and Finance Committee meetings can be seen on
Tuesday, May 4 at 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday, May 11 at 8:30 p.m. The Planning Committee
meeting can be seen on Thursday, May 6 at 8:30 p.m. and Thursday, May 13 at 8:30 p.m.
