Sumada, dated December 1, 1998, per request, transmits a bill to prohibit right turns onto Alii Drive from Kahakai Road. Informs this request is due to a number of vehicles crossing the centerline when turning right onto Alii Drive, creating a hazardous condition at this intersection. States Bi11300, which proposed cone-way traffic pattern along Kahakai Road, was filed by the Public Works & Parks Committee on November 17, 1998, due to public opposition. Therefore, asks that this proposed Bill 5 be considered for adoption.
