FC-46 Page 2 October 3, 2000 Comm. 929: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 00-63, AS (Bill 322) AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2001 (Appropriating $127,178.87 of excess fuel tax revenues collected in fiscal year 1999-00 which need to be transferred to the Capital Projects Fund)_ From Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, dated September 12, 2000, transmitting the above bill. Comm. 930: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 00-64, AS (Bi11323) AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2000 TO JUNE 30, 2001 (Reappropriating the lapsed fuel tax revenues established by Ordinance Nos. 97-120, 97-121 and 97-134) From Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, dated September 12, 2000, transmitting the above bill. Because a distribution formula was used to establish the original district appropriations and to maintain equity, lapsed funds are being reappropriated back to the originating districts. Comm. 931: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY (Res. 323-00) TRANSFER OF FUNDS FOR UNDERTAKING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (To enable the county to start work on the first and second phases of the Microwave Relocation and System Renovation Project, authorized in Ordinance 00-50 with $2 million transfer From Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, dated September 13, 2000, transmitting the above resolution. Comm. 932: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.00-64, AS (Bi11324) AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2000 TO JUNE 30, 2001 (Appropriating $100,000 to upgrade multiplex equipment for 8 microwave repeater sites -Public Safety Building, Central Fire Station, Kulani Cone, Na'alehu, South Point, Ohia Mill Captain Cook and Huehue) From Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, dated September 12, 2000, transmitting the above bill. FEMA will provide $100,000 and $36,200 will be provided from the Police and Fire microwave system maintenance and repair accounts. FC-46 Page 3 October 3, 2000 Comm. 933: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.00-64, AS (Bill 325) AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2000 TO JUNE 30, 2001 (Appropriating $55,000 to convert an equipment storage room at the Waiakea-Uka Gym annex building for a community police substation) From Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, dated September 12, 2000, transmitting the above bill. A community police substation is being proposed to establish a community policing program base of operations at the site. Comm. 934: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 00-64, AS (Bill 326) AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2000 TO JUNE 30, 2001 (Appropriating $183,285.16 of excess fuel tax revenues collected from 1998-2000) From Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, dated September 12, 2000, transmitting the above bill. This ordinance would distribute the appropriated amount using the same procedure and percentages established by Ordinance No. 99-46. Comm. 935: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 00-64, AS (Bi11327) AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2000 TO JUNE 30, 2001 (Appropriating an additional $2,200,000 to the Lanikaula/Manono Traffic Signals project From Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, dated September 15, 2000, transmitting the above bill. This project is 100% federally funded. The additional amount will cover construction costs, including the installation of a new traffic signal system, construction of additional turning lanes, concrete sidewalks and drainage facilities. Comm. 937: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS (Res. 326-00) OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR AMULTI-YEAR LEASE FOR A COPY MACHINE (For the Office of Aging) From Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, dated September 18, 2000, transmitting the above resolution. The copy machine currently being used is 8 years old and the copy quality has decreased resulting in more paper being used to get readable copies. FC-46 Page 4 October 3, 2000 Comm. 939: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 00-64, AS (Bi11329) AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2000 TO JUNE 30, 2001 (Appropriating $1,500,000 for Residential Sewer Connection Assistance) From Council Member Aaron S.
