From Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, dated August 21, 2000,
transmitting two Reports of Transfers Authorized showing
transfers made from August 1-15, 2000, and copies of the
approved transfer forms. The first report shows transfers relating
to the fiscal year ended June 30, 2000, and the second relates to the
current fiscal year.

Comm. 890: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF
(Res. 313-00) CARPET FOR THE EDITH KANAKAOLE MULTI-PURPOSE
STADIUM
From Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, dated August 14, 2000,
transmitting the above resolution. The carpet was donated by the
Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Hawaii for the
stage and risers at the Edith Kanakaole Multi-Purpose Stadium
with an estimated value of $1,696.

Comm. 892: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 00-64, AS
(Bill 306) AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND
FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1,
2000 TO JUNE 30, 2001 (to reestablish the reappropriation of
$150,000 that has lapsed for the Ahualoa Road -Old Mamalahoa
Highway -Capital Improvement Project in the Department of

JUNE 30, 2001 (appropriating $5,900 that the Department of Parks
& Recreation received from the State of Hawaii to develop a
physical activity web page and resource guide for the elder
population

Comm. 902: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 00-63, AS
(Bi11308) AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING
JUNE 30, 2001 (Appropriating $49,000 from the Housing and
Community Development Corporation of Hawaii to the Hawaii
County Fire Department to improve the water storage system at
Miloli'i)
From Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, dated August 22, 2000,
transmitting the above bill. The water system at Miloli'i supplies
non-potable water to the homes in the village. These
improvements are necessary to enable the volunteer fire unit at
Miloli'i to utilize the water system.

Comm. 909: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A
(Res. 318-00) DONATION OF A MINIATURE HORSE (From Mari-Jo Allen
for the Pana'ewa Rainforest Zook

transmitting the above resolution. The estimated value of the
miniature horse is $2,500.
