Taylor, President, Keauhou Master Homeowners Association, transmitted on March 19, 2000, informing that the association does not approve of the Mayor using County of Hawaii funds for the construction of the Ali'i Parkway. They feel that the previously agreed upon plan should be followed and any deviation could cost them the loss of Federal funds. comm. 67 t .002: From Patty Kealoha, submitting a petition with approximately 65 signatures stating that they do not want the Mayor to do his version of the Ali'i Highway Mauka-Makai Connector Road. Comrn. 67 ~ .003: From Pamela and Peter Martin, dated March 22, 2000, stating that they are not in favor of the Mayor's version of the Ali'i Parkway plan which is bare bones, unattractive and would deplete County funding for other roads. Instead, they want the Ali'i Parkway as it was originally designed and planned and paid for with Federal highway funds. Comm. 723: RESOLUTION DELETING AN EQUIPMENT OPERATOR III (Res. 239-00) AND CREATING A LABORER II POSITION (Department of Public Works) From Finance Director Harry A. Takahashi, dated March 24, 2000, transmitting the-above resolution. The need for laborers is much needed in the highways division of the Department of Public Works to be more productive and efficient. Hong transmitting the quarterly reports for all settlements made according to the authority given to the Office of the Corporation Counsel from Fiscal Year 1998 to the present. Takahashi, dated March 28, 2000, transmitting the above resolution. The Office of Housing and Community Development has budgeted $13,000 for the lease of the two copy machines.
