Comm. 321: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A (Res. 99-99) MONETARY DONATION ($500), FROM THE HAWAII POLICE ATHLETIC FEDERATION, TO THE HAWAII COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT From Finance Director Harry A. Takahashi, dated May 24, 1999, transmitting the above resolution. FC-14 Page 2 June 22, 1999 Comm. 322: DELINQUENT REAL PROPERTY TAXES COMPROMISE OFFER BY BARRY MACHADO From Finance Director Harry A. Takahashi, dated June 1, 1999, transmitting copy of letter to Gary Kiyota, Real Property Tax Administrator, from Barry Machado dated May 22, 1999 proposing to settle outstanding delinquent taxes on eight parcels owned by the Machado family. The proposal is to put up two parcels, identified as TMKs 8-2-011-010 and 8-2-011-011, for the County to sell, with the proceeds to be applied to the delinquent taxes owed on all eight parcels and any overage being remitted to the family. This offer is being transmitted to the Council pursuant to provisions of Section 19-3(a)(12) of the Hawaii County Code relating to Compromises. Comm. 323: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR (Res. 100-99) TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, THROUGH ITS HIGHWAY SAFETY PROGRAM, FOR A HIGHWAY SAFETY PROJECT REIMBURSEMENT GRANT FOR THE PURCHASE OF EXTRICATION TOOLS (FOR USE TO RESPOND TO EMERGENCY VICTIMS OF AUTOMOBILE COLLISIONS) BY THE HAWAII COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT From Fire Chief Edward Bumatay, dated June 3, 1999, transmitting the above resolution.
