Dear Councilperson:
What a wonderful opportunity our county has in the
appointment of Chris Yuen as Planning Director. I have
known him and his wife, Noelie Rodriguez, since my wife
and I moved here from Honolulu almost ten years ago,
and we both have the highest regard for him.
It would be a great loss to our island if someone
with the ability to argue successfully before the United
States Supreme Court were to be rejected, especially for a
questionable technical requirement. Chris Yuen's proven
ability and his willingness to serve will bring us the
finest example of public service. I hope, as our council-
person, you will vote for his confirmation.
