[t is my pleasure to submit for your confirmation the appointment of Dixie Kaetsu as County
of Hawaii Managing Director pursuant to the Charter of the County of Hawaii This
appointment was effective at 12 00 noon on Monday, December 4, 2000
Ms Kaetsu has been the Controller for the County since March, 1990, and has served as the
Director of Finance since July 1, 2000
Ms Kaetsu will serve a term co-terminus with my tenure, which will end on
