It Is my pleasure to submit for your confirmation the appointment of Dennis K W Lee as
County of Hawaii Chief Engineer pursuant to the Charter of the County of Hawaii Thls
appointment will be effective on January 2, 2001
Mr Lee has been employed by the Department of Water Supply of the County of Hawaii
from December, 1990 to the present Pnor to then, he worked for the County's Department of
Public Works and the U S Department of the Army He has been a registered professional
engineer m civil engineering since 1975 I-bs resume is attached for your information
Mr Lee \vill serve a term co-terminus with my tenure, which wdl end on
