the above dedication deed, along with a resolution accepting the deed
For your informatron, the deed has been reviewed by the Department of Public Works,
Department of Water Supply and the Planning Department and all have recommended
acceptance of the dedication deed. All subdivision Improvements have been completed Also
enclosed aze copses of transmittals from the Department of Public Works and the Planning
Department
Upon acceptance of the above dedication deed, please send notificatron of such
acceptance to (1) Wendelin L Campbell, Campbell & Campbell, 65-1235 Opelo Road, A5,
Kamuela, Hawaii 96743; (2) William Takaba, Acting Director of Finance, County of Hawaii,
and (3) Gerald Takase, Deputy Corporation Counsel, who will record the sazd deed with the
Bureau of Conveyances

SUBJECT: Dedication Deed: Puukapu Homesteads
Trustees of Richard Smart Trust

We have received your Memorandum of January 19,1999, regarding the above subject.
1t is our understanding that the streets have been constructed in accordance with approved
plans and the Department of Public Works has completed its fmal inspection of the
improvements. We have no additional comments on the deed document. As requested,
we are retun:ung the document to you.
We are continuing to work with the developer, Trustees of Richard Smart Trust, to name
the street. Please do not forward the Dedication Deed to the County Council until the
street has been named and the appropriate Street Name Sign has been installed.
