Due to an oversight, on December 12, 2000, I submitted for your confirmation the
appointment of Dennis K W Lee as Chief Engineer of the County of Hawaii However,
according to the charter amendments passed by the voters in November, the new title for the
positron Mr Lee has been appointed to is Director of Public Works Your confirmation
should refer to that new title
