Dear Chairman Arakaiu & Council Members
I am writing in support of the nomination of Dennis Lee to serve as our next Chief
Engineer for the County of Hawaii. I have known Mt. Lee for many years and have
found him to be a man of integnty and a competent engineer. I fiinily believe he will be
committed to sernng the residents of this County fairly and with compassion
Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the confirmation hearings so I want to thank
you in advance for giving me this opportunity to submit testimony in support of Mr. Lee's
nomination for Chief Engineer
