Soctety and appropnahon/transfer of $12,000 for the ptupose of procttnng an
independent contractor to perform the performance evaluation
Pursuartt to the recommendations contained in Commumcatton No 396 032 dated November 13,
2000 from Leg,slattve Auditor Constance R Ktnu to council members transmttttng the Specta!
Study on the Statics of Anima! Contro! to Hawat 't County, I am submitting resolutions to
authottize a performance evaluation of the Hawat`t Island Htunane Society to be performed by a
professional independent animal control orgamzahon A draft Request for Proposals, prepazed by
the Legtslatrve Audrtor in consultation with the Purchasing Dtvtsron, Ftrtance Department is
attached An accompanying resolution appropriates/transfers $12,000 to fund procurement of the
recommended evaluation
