Re Operating Budget
The State of Hawaii has received a grant from the Department of Justice to mitigate the
consequences of a weapons of mass destruction threat to the State of Hawaii Hawaii
County, in turn, has been awarded $120,000 for such purposes
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropnating this
amount to the Civil Defense Domestic Equipment Program.
Also enclosed is a resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the
State Civil Defense
