RESOLUTION NO. 26 01
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION AND USE OF PRIOR YEAR FUNDS
RESULTING FROM THE CANCELLATION OF A CONTRACT.
}VHEREAS, in the fiscal year ended June 30, 2000, the sum of $150,000 00 was encumbered in account
number 110-399-5393 27-I I ~ from funds duly appropriated in that fiscal year, and
}'WHEREAS, in the current fiscal year, contract number 00172 was canceled due to the inability of the
contractor to provide the work as specified, resulting m the fornterly-encumbered funds appearing m the unexpended
allotment balance of the current year's budge[ status, and
WHEREAS, these funds are still needed for the purpose of the onemal appropriation,
"THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HA1VA1'I that the
follo~+ing amount that appears in the unencumbered balance of the account below be and is hereby appropriated as
set forth below

BE [T FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed and instructed to forward a
copy of this resolution to the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance be and is hereby authorized to
allow the expenditure of these funds m accordance with the terms of this resolution
