Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance appropriating an additional $11,700,000 for the
Puamako Street Extension project due to revised cost estimates The rewsed cost is
based on the actual bid amount received on November 22, 2000.

A. REQUEST:
(1) Amendment to Ordinance No. 00-64 to revise the coat for the
PUAINAKO STREET EXTENSION project. This request is to cover the
Federal funded portion, which will be reimbursed. Appropriate an
additional $9,500,000 which will increase coat from $12,800,000.00
to $22,300,000.00; (Account No. 110-399-5391.25-115).
(2) Amendment to Ordinance No. 00-64 for additional County
appropriation of $2,200,000 to supplement the request for additional
Federal appropriation. This will increase cost from $3,600,000.00
to $5,800,000.00; (Account No. 110-399-5391.26-115).

This is a Federal funded project. Revised cost ie based on the
