Bill No 5, transmitted by Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, via Communication No.12, dated
November 27, 2000, amends Ordinance No 00-63, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending
June 30, 2001 The amendment is as follows

010-201-5219 70 Sex Cnme Unit General $147,565
The Department of the Attorney General Cnme Prevention and Justice Assistance Division is
providing additional funding to the Police Department to improve the quality of investigations
into reports of sexual assaults against juveniles and adults
The onginal grant of $169,992 is being increased by $147,565 to total $317,557.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 5, and
recommends it pass first reading
