Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 9-01, reports as follows:
Resolution No 9-Ol, transmitted by Director of Finance Drxre ICaetsu, via Communication
No 19, dated December 1, 2000, authorizes the appropriation and use of poor yeaz funds due to
the cancellation of a purchase order
Resolution No 9-01 states that in the fiscal yeaz ended June 30, 2000, the Departrnent of Pazks &
Recreation account encumbered $7,500 00. [n the current fiscal year, contract No. 82455, was
canceled due to the inability of the contractor to provide the item as specified, resulting in the
formerly encumbered funds to appear as unexpended allotments Because these funds are still
needed, Resolution No. 9-01 authonzes the following amount to be appropriated as set forth
below
