No. 42/Res No. I3-O1 <br /> PLACE Council Chambers <br /> TIME. 10 47 A.M. <br /> Council Chazr and Members <br /> Hawaz`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was refetted Resolution No. 13-01, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 13-01, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication <br /> No 42, dated December 13, 2000, amends Ordinance No 00-65, the Salary Ordinance, by adding <br /> Section 7 09 Department of Environmental Management, deleting Section 7.07 Office of the <br /> Safety Coordinator, renaming Section 7.02 Office of the Mayor to Office of Management, and <br /> retitling the Chief Engineer class of work to Director of Public Works. <br /> The aforementioned amendments to the Salary Ordinance reflects changes made to the Hawaii <br /> County Charter which was ratified by a majority of Big Island voters on November 7, 2000. <br /> Pursuant to Section 11-156, Hawaz`i Revised Statutes, the County Clerk has certified that the <br /> proposed amendments were approved by a majority of the voters voting upon said amendments. <br /> Pursuant to Article 3, Section 3-13, Hawaii County Charter, interim amendments to the <br /> Ordinance establishing the pay plan for the County may be by resolution of the Council provided <br /> <br /> a revised Salary Ordinance is enacted at least once annually <br /> Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purposes and intent of Resolution No 13-O1 <br /> <br /> and recommends its adoption. <br /> <br /> smc <br /> aiss noes sac ex Respectfully submitted <br /> CHUNG X <br /> PISICCHIO X COMMITTEE ON FINANCE <br /> ARAKAKI X <br /> ELARIONOFF X <br /> JACOBSON X <br /> LEITHEA0.TODD X <br /> SAFARIK x AARON S.Y.
