A few morlthe ago I attended the Smart Growth Conference at the Hilton in Waikiki
sponsored try the State Office d Planning. There was a large attendance from all the

Smart Growth is a movement that realizes that economic security ~ tied to

the Council to set up on-gdng c meetings with smart growth obJectlves for the Puna-
Hib area and headed by the Planning Department. We need to educate ourselves and
plan wisely for the future.
