Re Correction - B11126 -Appropriation of FEMA Funds for Flooding Disaster
On January 25, 2001, a bill was submitted to the Council to appropriate the federal share of
the cost of FEMA flood disaster projects In this bill, the amount to be appropriated in the
capital protects fund was incorrect, and represented the total federal share of all flood protects,
not only the FEMA projects Since the federal share of Federal Highway Administration and
Natural Resources and Conservation Service projects have already been appropnated, those
amounts should not have been included
Attached is a corrected copy of Bill 26, reflecting the preliminary federal share of the cost of
FEMA protects, $4,188,469, to be appropriated in the Capital Protects Fund Along with the
bill is a corrected summary sheet Please replace the onginal bill with this corrected copy
