SubJect Wazakea Heights Subdivision
In going through the allegations referred to me by you involving Public Works in the
Wazakea Heights Subdmsion, I teamed that it was never brought to the attention of the
Mayors Office of Information and Complaints. The established process in place to
handle complaints of this nature seems to rest in the office of the administration
To circumvent the process makes the Public Works Committee a platform from which to
launch attacks on individuals and denying these individuals due process. It also creates
and unfair approach for those who may not have sympathetic connections among
Counctlmembers and must begin with the Office of Information and Complaints
There are two questions that I need to ask you•
l Are you wilting to place this complaznt in the hands of the administration for
investigation and solution?
2. If placed on the committee agenda, what is your expectation in reference to the
heanng accomplishment?
Please submit your response on or before Februazy 6, 2001 to allow time for placement
on the committee agenda
