Re Bill 26 -Corrected Summary Worksheet
Dear Chairman Arakaki and Members of the Council
On February 1, 2001, I transmitted a Draft 2 ofB11126, correcting the amount to be
appropnated In the capital prolects fund to cover the federal share of FEMA flood disaster
protects Upon review of my files, I discovered that the summary sheet submitted with the
second draft was incorrect
Enclosed is a corrected summary sheet for your information The totals on this sheet
correspond with the amounts shown on the detail listing of projects that was submitted with
the first draft of this bill
I apologize for the inconvemence, and will be happy to answer any questions when this matter
is considered by the council

The federal share of the FHWA and NRCS proleds has already been appropnated by the Council,
$8,000,000 and $1,500,000 respectively The federal share of the Army Corps of Engineers
proleds does not need to be eppropnated through the County because it will be expended directly
by the Corps The attached bills appropnate the federal share of the FEMA protects
Shaded protects on the attached detail list are being appropnated in the operating budget, the
balance of the protects are being appropriated in the capital budget
