RESOLUTION NO. SO 01
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF FOUR 5-TIER
ALUMINUM BLEACHERS
WHEREAS, Bobby Jean Leithead-Todd, Council Member wishes to donate Four 5-Tier Aluminum
Bleachers for use at the Soccer Fields or other appropriate sports facility; and
WHEREAS, the Four 5-Tier Aluminum Bleachers, with an estimated value of FOUR THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($4,000.00) will be used for the Soccer Fields or other appropriate sports facility; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends acceptance of this generous
donation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the County of
Hawaii accepts the Four 5-Tier Aluminum Bleachers.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent to Bobby Jean Leithead-Todd,
Council Member, 118 Lukia Place, Hilo, Hawaii 96720 acknowledging this generous donation.
