Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 22, reports as follows:
Bill No. 22, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 29-01 by Director of Finance
William T. Takaba, via Communication No. 79, dated January 23, 2001; amends Ordinance
No. 00-63, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2001. The amendment is as
follows:

010-671-5671.02 Environmental Mgmt—OCE General $ 5,000
Total $48,540
The Department of Environmental Management is being established in accordance with
amendments made and ratified by electors to the County of Hawai`i Charter. These funds are for
the current fiscal year.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 22 and
recommends it pass first reading.
