Your Committee on Finance, to which w•as referred Resolution No 30-01, reports as follows•
Resolution No 30-01, transmitted by Director of Finance William T Takaba, via
Communication No 80, dated January 16, 2001, authorizes the acceptance of a donation from
Mr & Mrs Kelly Moran. Dr & Mrs Edwin Montell, Mr & Mrs Walter Lucas and Cindy Lucas,
Mr & Mrs Joseph Sampaia, and Mr & Mrs Willie-Joe Camara
The aforementioned families have graciously donated three park benches to be used by the
Department of Parks and Recreation at the Ke~kiland Playground The value of this donation ~s
estimated at $1.400
Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Haw•ai`i County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the
County, may accept gifts or dona[~ons of personal property
A letter of appreciation will be sent to the following families, acknowledging this generous
donation
