SUBJECT Resolution No 49-01, Draft 2
Pursuant to a friendly floor amendment suggested by Council Member Julie Jacobson during the
Finance Committee meeting of febniary 21, 2001, please find a copy of Resolution No 49-O1,
Draft 2, A Resolutton to Authorize an Independent Evaluation of the Ammal Control Program of
the County of Hawaii The amendment was adopted by the Finance Committee and is reflected
in the attached Exhibit A titled Request jor Proposals jor Projess[onal /ndependent Evaluation of
[he .4n[mal Control Program of the County of Hawaii
Specifically, the amended text appears on page 5 of Exhibit A, subsection viii, titled "Shelter
Operations," thud bullet, and reads as follows
Spay/neuter budget, program promotion and public education, including spay/neuter
"techmcian" services to supplement veterinary services [new material is underscored]
