Re Operating Budget
The U S Department of Justice has authonzed funding for the support and purchase of
training services for the establishment of community based organizations and
representatives that will identify iustice related issues and problems of the community
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropnating this
$150,000 Community Empowerment Organization Grant
Also enclosed is a resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the U S.
Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs
