Dear Chairman Arakaki and Members of the County Council:
SUBJECT: Negotiated Cost Items, Hawaii Fire Fighters Association, BUl l
In accordance with Section 89-10(b), HRS, attached for council action is a resolution
approving the cost items agreed upon by the Employers and the Hawaii Fire Fighters
Association for Bargaining Unit 11. The negotiated cost items include adjustments to
wages, overtime, and meal allowances. Attached as an exhibit to the resolution is a
schedule showing the total cost of these various adjustments over the two years of the
proposed contract.
The revised budget that will be presented to the Council in May will include
appropriations for these cost items.
