Dear Chairman Arakakl and Council Members
It is my pleasure to nominate Ms Hannah K Spnnger to the Hawaii County Planning
Commission
Ms Hannah Spnnger will replace Richard Baker whose term expired on December 31, 2000
She is a 44-year resident of Hawaii She is presently self~mployed as a cultural geography
consultant and is a past OHA Trustee She also serves as co-chair of the West Hawaii
Fishenes Council
Ms Spnnger's current community involvement includes being a board member of the West
Hawaii Family Support Services, a board member on the Hawaii Nature Conservatory, and a
board member on the Tropical Reforestation Ecosystem Education
Ms Spnnger states that she is not affiliated with any political party and will serve a term to
expire on December 31, 2005
