Arakaki, Chairman ~ Preaidsng OElicer and Members o! she Council; Testimony of Fred Fergusor.-grey o°_ PaciEie Century Trust on beha:! of the Roman Catholic Church in the State o! Hawaii (`Churoh") on B~11 Number 16 (Draft 4). The Church is the landowner o! some of the lands that are the subject of .he original ordinaao• that this 6a11 proposes to amend. The Church is not opposed to the passage of this Bill. The Church is concerned that the withdrawal of the Treee at Kukuihaele pareela from the original ordinance, without a prorate ad7uetment to the conditions attachtd to that ordinance, will impose a greater burden o! compliance on the owners of the parcels remaining subject to the ordinance. The C.hureh, therefore, respectfully requests that i£ the withdrawal of the Treee at Rukuihaele paroels is approved, that the corditione in the original ordinance also be revised so that the relative burden o! compliance placed on the remaining parcels by those conditions ie no greater than the burden applicable to the remaining parcels before the Trees at Kukuihaele parcels are removed from the ordinance.
