RESOLUTION NO. 66 O1
RESOLUTION CHANGING TIME ELEMENT OF A COUNTY PHYSICIAN 1/2T TO FULL TIME
WHEREAS, County Physicians render medical opinions, advise on medical matters and
conduct physical examinations as requested by County departments and agencies, and
WHEREAS, presently, there are one 1/2T County Physician position and two (2) 1/4T
Assistant County Physician positions in East Hawaii, and
WHEREAS, Position no 20004, County Physician 1/2T, A-18, currently serves as the County
Physician in East Hawaii, and
WHEREAS, by increasing the time element of this position from half time to full time, this will
improve scheduling and coordination and make it easier for departments to handle their personnel
needs, and
WHEREAS, that there are sufficient funds available in the County Physicians Regular Salaries
and Wages account(010-401-5401 01-011)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that Position No 20004, County Physician, A-18, be changed to full time
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the Office of
Management and to the Departments of Finance and Civil Service
