Dear Councilmen Arakaki,
As Waiakea-Uka parents whose children are evoWed with little league baseball we would
like to present a concern to you.
The backstop fence at the Waiakea-iJka baseball park, little league field, needs to be
repaired. The bottom of the fencing is broken and curls up in places. It would be
dangerous for a child to accidentally Fall upon it during play. We are all concerned for
the safety of our children
The recreation instructor was informed of this hazard about 5 to 6 months ago. Although
he said that the work order was submitted, to this date no work has been done. Little
league baseball practices are currently held on this field and soon actual games will
begin
With your assistance and support we hope that we will see some resuhs soon
Thank you.
The concerned parents of Waiakea-Uka.
