NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to adopt street names for
unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii pursuant to Section 22-35, Article 2, Chapter 22,
Hawaii County Code; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii has not formally adopted names for
several streets in Ka`auhuhu Homesteads, North Kohala, Hawaii, and
WHEREAS, the names for these streets have been on Tax Maps for many years, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that said streets, as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be named as follows:
Haws Road - after the land division
Kahei Road - after the land division
Ka`auhuhu Road - after the land division and Homesteads.
