I understand that the Prosecutor's Office is seeking funding for three
positions eanmarked for the Violence Against Children Unit which have been
previously funded by a federal grant.
I azn fazniliaz with the good work done by the staff at the office and
believe that the specialized unit has provided invaluable assistance to the
young victims of our community.
While we understand there are competing and equally important
demands on the limited resources of the County of Hawaii, we trust in your
