RE: A Resolution Authorizing Funding To Help Defray The Cost Of
Fire Works For The Twenty Fifth Annual Fire Works Display
Held On Mokuola (Coconut Island), Hilo, Hawaii
Persuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the
Council of the County of Hawaii, this written approval is submitted
in regards to Resolution No. 52 relating to funding to help
defray the cost of fire works for the Twenty Fifth Annual Fire Works
Display held on Mokuola in Hilo, Hawaii. This event will be held on
July 4, 1997, by the Lehua Jaycees, waiving said referral from the
Committee on Finance in order that appropriate action can be taken
by the Council.
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed advisable
that such waiver be granted.
