Amendments to Hawaii County Marijuana
Eradication Grant:
1. HCPD does not fly its helicopters rented through this program
under 1000 feet over "residential" areas and also not perform any
insertion or extraction operations is such areas.
2. The HCPD develop and accept written rules and regulations for
this program.
3. The HCPD >s forbidden from participating in any aerial spraying of
herbicides during cannabis eradication programs.
4. The HCPD limit their aerial searches for cannabts to plots larger
than 7 plants.
5. The HCPD develops with legal marijuana recipients, relXgious and
medical, clear written policy for protectutg their rrghts and privacy
and the integrity of existing laws. A public hearing is to be held at
the earliest possible date to educate and implement the new
policies.
6. HCPD develops a program to distribute the "highest grade"
confiscated marijuana free of charge and free of liability to HCPD, to
all medreal marijuana recipients.
