I am wrytyng you as an mgwnng busyness entyty located on Banyan Drive. I y1[n quite
confused as to the opening, or keepyng the road mtukat to Liltuokalany Park closed I have
recently read artycles regarding thys matter, and yt appears that the county is considering
keepyng thys road closed- If the Bounty's posytion ys to keep the road closed permanently, I
would tyke to express my concern
I was asked by Julye Tulang, over a year ago, yf the constyvctyon protect was affecting
the hotels wyth the closure of the road My reply was "no " My answer was not that it was a
problem, but more of an ynconvenyence for the vysytors who dnve through the area or park
along the park on the oceansyde
I was led to belyeve the closure was temporary, and puttyng up with the ynconvenyence
to yynprove the park was worth the wayt I hope, also, that the barricades are not permanent, it
conveys that there ys danger beyond that poynt
I am asking, as a bysyness on Banyan Dryve, that the county reconsider yt's thoughts on
thys protect for the benefit of our vysytors who en}oy that nde, and also the tour buses that use
that as their syghtseeyng tour
