Dear Chairman Arakakl and Council Members
It is my pleasure to nominate the following individuals to the County of Hawan Board of Ethics
Council District 2 - Leroy J Victonne is a lifelong resident of Hawan He Is currently the Hilo
Airport's Security Manager and is a former Assistant Chief of the Hawaii County Police
Department Mr Victonne's community service organizations are numerous A few are the
Kinney Heights Kumlai, Board of Directors of the Boys Club of Hllo, trustee for the Hllo Boarding
School, Piopio Bears and Wreckers Athletic Clubs, H11o High Boosters, Laupahoehce and Kona
Traffic Safety Committees Mr Victonne states that he 1s not affiliated with any political party
and will serve a term ending December 31, 2004
Council District 6 - Keola/ani Hanoa is a I~felong resident o/Hawaii Ms Hanoa has served
the past 10 years as a program director, cultural educator/cumcu/um developer for the Edrth
Kanaka'o/e Foundation, KO KOIu Kumuhana 'O Ka'u She is a member of the Hawaii Island
State Bunal Council, president of the Ka`u Learning Center, member of the Native Hawaiian
Education Council, and a member of the Hawaiian Advisory Board for the Hawaii Volcanoes
National Park Ms Hanoa states that she is not affiliated with any political party and will serve a
term to expire on December 31, 2005
