A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TFIE ACCEPTANCE OF A TREADMILL lr'OR PAPA'ALOA GYM
WHEREAS, Ms. Jessica Osborn of Laupahoehoe, Hawaii, would like to donate a Vitamaster Premier PRG
programmable treadmill to be used by the Department of Parks and Recreation for the weight room at Papa' aloa Gym; and
WHEREAS, the treadmill has a total estimated value of $700;
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawai' i County Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the
County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks & Recreation recommends the acceptance of the donation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that in
accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the County of Hawaii accepts
the treadmill.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent to Ms. Jessica Osborn, P.O. Box 374,
Laupahoehoe, Hawai' i 96764, acknowledging this generous donation.
