Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
Please be informed that I have reappointed the following persons to serve on the
Mayor's Committee on People With Disabilities:

• B?izabeth M. Mason
• A isa J. Mitchener
• Lisa M.J. Onorato
• Betsy R. Whitney
• James D. Souza
• Laura L. Tobosa
• Theodore Yamanaka
In addition to the reappointments, Ihave appointed Michael E. Gleason to serve on this
committee. ~/Ir. Gleason is a 12-year resident of Hawaii and is currently the Executive
Director of the ARC of Hilo. He has also served with the Department of Education as a
special education teacher. Mr. Gleason is a member of the Hilo Bay Rotary Ciub, the
Vacationland Community Association, and is on the board of directors for KBCA. He
states that he is not affiliated with any political party.
All appointees will serve co-terminus to my term of office, which ends on
December 6, 2004.
