The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted
a resolution to the Hawaii County Housing Agency (HCHA)
authorizing the Mayor to execute and submit the 2001 Action Plan
and all other related documents to the U.S. Department of Housing
and Urban Development for the 2001 Community Development Block
Grant and to the State's Housing and Community Development
Corporation of Hawaii for the HOME Investment Partnerships
Programs.
The HCHA reviewed and approved the resolution at its meeting of
April 18, 2000, and voted as follows:
AYES: G. Safarik, J. Arakaki, L. Elarionoff, N. Pisicchio,
J. Tyler, III - 5
NOES: none
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: A. Chung, J. Jacobson, B. Leithead-Todd,
D. Yagong
Accordingly, I am requesting that this resolution be included on
the Council agenda for action at its May 2, 2001, meeting.
