RESOLUTION AUTHORIZINC7 THE PAYMSNT OF FUNDS OF A LAl`~R FISC~,L YEAR AND OF MODE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR AMULTI-YEAR LEASE FOR A COPY MACHINE WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and WHIeREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into amulti-year lease agreement for three (3) years for one (1) copy machine for the Elderly Activities Division, Department of Parks and Recreation; and WHEREAS, the present copy machine is rented on a 12-month period each fiscal year; and WHEREAS, the acquisition of this machine on a three (3) year ;ease will greatly reduce their monthly rental cost. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE® 13Y THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF He4WAl`I: 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a three (3) year lease agreement of a copy machine for the Elderly Activities Division of the Department of Parks and Recreation. 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 6th day of June , 2001.
