Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one
fiscal year for a copy machine for the Elderly Activities Division of the Department
of Parks and Recreation. The copy machine currently being used is rented on a
12-month period per fiscal year. By entering into a three (3) year rental, the cost
per month is greatly reduced.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Parks
and Recreation.

A. REQUEST:
EAD would like to enter into a 36 month rental agreement for an average volume
copy machine for its office.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
A copy machine has been rented on a 12-month period each fiscal year. By
entering into a 36 month rental, the cost per month is greatly reduced ---almost
$100.00.
The copy machine will be used by the Elderly Activities Division staff for
photocopying records, forms, correspondence, informational sheets, flyers, etc.
